BATH

No.15 Hotel

The concept of arrival after a long journey in a bygone age was central to the design, whilst delivering the luxury expected by the modern traveller was key. Painted reclaimed flooring, brass lamps and panelled screens with reeded glass evoke the time of the stagecoach, whilst contemporary furnishings in a palette of earthy neutrals, deep heritage tones and bold accents provide modern comfort and tactility.

In a former carriage house at No.15 Hotel by Guest House, sited on Bath’s most resplendent avenue, eight rooms were reimagined in an on-brand meeting of character detail and contemporary living.

On-site joinery was a key feature of the build. Linear wall panelling and unique shutters to the original quatrefoil windows being some of the touches to tie the space to its setting and the wider hotel image.

The landing between rooms piques curiosity with the hotel’s communal pantry space reimagined as a traditional food-cart. Painted in the signature pink of the company brand with signwriting, the concept was to surprise and delight the traveller after their arrival.
